A Collective Focus on International Group Volunteer Travel

Our group has spawned from our passion for one prevailing truth:

"The world is full of beautiful places to explore and wonderful people to meet - but both are in need of our help."

Our group is focused, collectively, on dreams of where we'd like to travel and what we can do to help. As worldwide volunteer travelers, we explore the world sharing some part-time days to help those in need, as well as harvesting time for leisure by going on professionally guided tours to learn even more about the culture and places we visit. You'll have the opportunity to engage in hands on enriching volunteer service, in youth and community outreach, teaching English, health care, and environmental conservation in countries worldwide. Our programs are designed to both make a difference in the local community and create an amazing experience abroad.

There's 3 great reasons our organization is thriving:

  1. By helping out locals and their communities across the globe, we engage interactively with their culture, far beyond a typical vacation.
  2. We travel to these great destinations and take plenty of time for leisure touring and enjoyment of our surroundings.
  3. Tour guides, hoteliers, and restaurateurs sponsor our volunteer efforts which keep our travel expenses down, but not the great service and accommodations they provide to us!
It's win/win/win!

With our group, the world becomes your classroom - and the experience, your greatest teacher.

If you haven't yet joined our group on meetup.com and you reside in the greater Denver area, please visit: www.meetup.com/International-Volunteer-Leisure-Travelers and sign up as a member to attend one of our meetings on January 16 or 17, 2010.

If you aren't in the Denver area, feel free to contact us with your interests on joining us on a trip, and even the possibility for you to organize meetups in your area so we can increase our strength of our international volunteer team. There are also benefits associated with being a meetup group organizer, so definitely email us if you are interested!
